SDA landscape architecture had its inception in 2001 when Steven Dailey brought his small design firm to Northern California's wine country from the Sacramento metro area. The firm came to the Napa Valley with the specific aim to service the wine industry, the hospitality industry and the residential estate market in Napa, Sonoma, and Lake counties.

Our practice involves the professional disciplines of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Site Planning and Environmental Planning. SDA has significant experience in a wide range of project types including farms, wineries, gardens, parks, offices, inns & spas, housing, campuses, and urban streetscapes. The award-winning firm focuses on creative conceptual explorations based upon sound principles of sustainable and ecological design.
