Toldi Lane is Steven and his wife, Kathleen’s, Napa cottage home. The 1937 clapboard house occupies a small lot on a private lane under native oaks and massive redwoods. Garden design focused upon providing a much-needed outside dining area. The central space is formal and axial, enclosed at one end with stone walls and water feature, and stone bbq/firepit at the other. In between, the protective canopy of a single, large Olive tree presides over dinners prepared from a small bio-intensive kitchen garden.
